An Exclusive Four Hands Itameshi Wine Dinner at Kisso Japanese Restaurant

Bangkok, Thailand – On Thursday, 6 August 2026, Kisso Japanese Restaurant at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok invites discerning dinners to embark on an extraordinary culinary journey where the elegance of Japan meets the soul of Italy. For one evening only, Chef Chatree Pangsil, head chef of Kisso, joins hands with chef Stefano Merlo of Rossini’s at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit to present an exclusive five-course Itameshi wine dinner, a dining experience thoughtfully paired with the acclaimed wines of Avignonesi, one of Tuscany’s most celebrated wineries.

Inspired by the beauty and rich culinary heritage of Tuscany, the evening showcases the art of Itameshi—a harmonious fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine. Through refined techniques, seasonal ingredients and contemporary creativity, the two chefs present a menu that celebrates the best of both culinary traditions while allowing each ingredient to shine with remarkable purity and balance.

The gastronomic journey begins with a refreshing scallop carpaccio, marinated with balsamic and soy, paired with the prestigious Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2020. The experience continues with chilled spaghetti with Bluefin Tuna & Yuzu, accompanied by Cantaloro Rosso Toscana IGT 2020, followed by a comforting onsen egg & black truffle, perfectly complemented by Avignonesi Poggetto di Sopra DOCG 2020.

For the main course, slow-braised short rib glazed in Japanese curry is served with handmade potato gnocchi, creating a rich and deeply satisfying expression of Itameshi cuisine. The dish is beautifully paired with the aromatic and bold flavour of Avignonesi Desiderio Toscana IGT 2021. The dinner concludes with matcha tiramisu & hōjicha gelato that delivers a refined finale to the experience.
