The New Taipei City Government Tourism Bureau held a tourism introduction conference in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday (6), working with New Taipei City hotel operators to promote New Taipei City tourism with Thai operators, and visited various organizations such as the Taiwan Tourism Bureau Bangkok, the Thailand Travel Agents Association (TTAA), and the Thai-Taiwan Trade Association, aiming to present more tourism options in New Taipei to tourists from other countries.

In addition to promoting the New Taipei City Christmas Festival, the Tourism Bureau also promotes the Pingxi Lantern Festival and the 2025 World Masters Games. In addition to the Pingxi Lantern Festival and the 2025 World Masters Games, New Taipei City also promotes the local delicacies and specialties of New Taipei City, such as A-Ke Dan Shui, Jiufen Taro Cakes, Wanli Crabs, Shimen Zongzi, Sanxia Croissants, and Wulai Native Rice Porcelain. These delicacies are presented in the form of 3-meter-high murals, which are very eye-catching. Souvenirs such as Pinglin Tea Egg Rolls, Sanxia Bi Luo Chun Tea, and Yingge Ceramic Teaware are also popular among Thai tourists. Director Yang Zhongmin explained that as of May of this year, more than 180,000 Thai tourists have visited Taiwan, which is second only to Malaysia and the Philippines in Southeast Asia. Therefore, the New Taipei City Tourism Bureau organized a publicity event in Malaysia in May and yesterday held a dinner in Bangkok, Thailand, hoping to introduce and promote New Taipei City to tourists and tourism operators in Thailand. At the same time, the New Taipei City Bureau has promoted tourism programs in Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan. In addition, it supports the distribution of brochures and public relations information of Taipei and Taoyuan. Director Ying Zhongmin emphasized that New Taipei City has been promoting tourism in northern Taiwan to achieve mutual benefits for the tourism markets of Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei and Taoyuan. In particular, Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei and Taoyuan have successfully held a promotion event in Korea in July this year. It is believed that cooperation between the four cities will definitely be more extensive in the future.
